Alexandre Patrick Smith (born March 15, 1989) is a American writer and editor. Biograghy Son to Gail and Jeff Smith, Alexandre P. Smith has one younger brother, Nicholas Smith. He's lived in Fairfax, Virginia for a decade before moving to Houston, Texas and then to San Antonio. Smith has traveled to Portugal, Iceland, France, Corsica and many other regions which have influenced the philosophies found in his writings. Graduated from University of Texas at San Antonio, Alexandre P. Smith received a B.A. in English and Philosophy. He currently resides in San Antonio, Texas. Career Smith is frequently involved in the growing writing community in San Antonio, Texas. His poetry has been read and published through local media outlets including the oldest independent newspaper in Texas, The Paisano. Smith writes in numerous genres as well as poetry though he most commonly works to define the boundaries of creative nonfiction. He is founder of a small nonprofit, Worlds' Art Initiative, of which strives to support collaboration with artists beyond one medium.
