Albert J. Perez (born 1978) is a Cuban-American lawyer, who is the head counsel of C.A.S.A. Perez graduated from St. Brendan High School in 1997. He attended St. Thomas University and graduated in 2001. Subsequently, Perez attended Nova Southeastern University where he served as a member of the Nova Law Review. While in law school, Perez authored an article titled,, 28 Nova L. Rev. 437, 443 (2003). His article has been cited on various secondary sources such as;Hunker; Immigration Rights. Upon graduating from Law School, Perez was hired as an associate in a prominent Coral Gables law firm. However, shortly thereafter, Perez was named Head Counsel for a non-profit organization in Miami, Florida known as C.A.S.A. Currently Perez as head counsel represents thousands of immigrants before the United States Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Perez is admitted to practice in Florida and before the United States Court Appeals for the . Perez, has appeared on various local Spanish talk shows on the issue of immigration and has been cited in various newspapers, magazines, and radio stations such as Radio Caracol.
