Afaf jbara

Afaf Jbara (born March 19, 1979) is a young Moroccan Berber female.
Afaf is a graduate of the American University in Dubai with an MBA in International Marketing/Finance and with an Engineering Bachelor. She also earned an executive education certificate lately from The Wharton School- University of Pennsylvania.
She has over 8 years of international experience in Marketing Communications. Working at Abraaj Capital, she was responsible for Investor Relations and communications. Within the same organization she managed the corporate communications and Public/media Relations.
Prior to joining Abraaj, she worked in Sharjah Islamic Bank as Marketing and advertising manager and has been involved in the re-branding process of the bank. She was as well part of the Dubai Holding via the Arabian Radio Network and Dubai TV where she was involved in the lunch of Radio stations, Public Relations and Production.
She began her career in Saudi Arabia as an engineer in the KKESH hospital and she fulfilled the role of a Project Manager as her first job in Dubai with Projacs where she mastered the project management tools such as Primavera and initiated the internal training. Recently Afaf has set up her own Free Zone Establishment"Noor Consulting" in the field of Business and Marketing Consulting.
Notable achievements
• In 1997, Ms. Afaf Jbara was awarded the President Honor Roll Award from Al Akhawayn University.
• She was warded the First Price of the Mathematics Olympiads in the Academy of Mohammadiya in 1993. Casablanca Morocco.
• Awarded the Prices of Fine Arts and Theater by the ministry of Education 1994. Casablanca. Morocco.
• Established the First Youth Club - Operation Smile in Morocco.
