Aerodynamic number

</noinclude>
An aerodynaminc number is the measure of a processor's capability to dynamically execute floating points relative to its number of cores. We can describe it as some technical piece of number in a processor architecture. The word "aero" is specifically used to signify that the values in question are floating point units and not integers. Of course the basis and derivation of aerodynamic numbers are purely theoretical. Some companies like ARM have specifically utilized special technology in order to ensure increased performance-per-watt, especially for mobile processors,in order to ensure increased aerodynamic numbers which in turn result in better performance-per-watt compared to their contemporaries. aerodynamic numbers are often referred to as Ξ or Xi (Greek Alphabet).
