Adriano Gajoni (1913-1965), was an Italian Milanese painter, living in the early part of the 20th century. Biography He was born in Milan from a traditional Milanese family, very young he was admitted at the Brera Academy, where he taught for a time, studied painting with Giovanni Borgonovo who considers Gajoni his best student, begins his artistic activity and an art passion to analysis Lombard painters of the seventeenth century. Author of a rich artistic production, prefers the figurative, including landscapes but have particular interest especially in still lifes. His technique is essentially the painting with oil technique on canvas, wood and hardboard. Despite the fame achieved rather a way of life very private and reserved, as a true philosophy of life and art vision, so he was very happy when an Italian newspaper described him as "everyman" (normal man) in 1958. He died in 1965 very young, at the age of 52 years, for the consequences of a car accident, leaving two daughters (Christina and Rita) and his wife (Dolores). The daughter is the actress Cristina Gajoni and nephew the painter Christiana Visentin.
