Adam G. Landolfi

Adam Gasper Landolfi was a self-employed race car fabricator and a second-generation professional race car driver. Adam followed in the footsteps of his father, known famously throughout the Greater New York City area and in the race car world as "Coney Island Ralph." Adam G. Landolfi competed in several NHRA classes, including Pro Stock and Pro Modified. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended South Shore High School. Landolfi was also a muscle car collector. Throughout his life, he learned from his father the art of automobiles and he carried it with him, going on to be a successful entrepreneur and the leader of his shop located in the suburbs of New Jersey. As well, Adam Landolfi was featured on an episode of PINKS: Lose the Race, Lose Your Ride in 2006 with his employees, where he competed against Peter Avram. By his use of friendliness and his hard work in his high school mechanics class, Adam Landolfi created a life for himself with only the use of intense studying and hands-on projects. Adam G. Landolfi passed away on March 30, 2007 due to a heart attack. Sources state that the number of people attending his funeral were of unprecedented and "unimaginable" amounts. Landolfi's shop has since closed down, though his family continues to lead as one of the most popular in the boroughs of New York. Landolfi's personal success is now a popular timeline which automobile students research and study in order to replicate his work.
