Deshmukh Award for his contribution in the field of Economics by State Government of Maharashtra. # Was President of Yuva-Natya Sahitya Sammelan held in 2011 General # He has traveled all over the globe more than 150 times for the business of Information Technology, addressing various seminars or negotiating large contracts. # He has conducted more than 100 programmes on the Television for educating people in Information Technology, Music and Management in simple language. # He has a collection of about 4000 books in his personal library and 2000 CDs/cassettes with music from 18 countries. Social Work # He has contributed in building ‘Ashiana’ - a school for mentally challenged children with about 40 autistic children at Andheri (Mumbai) since Sept.1999. He plans to expand this school to a strength of at least 100 and start many such schools in all the districts of Maharashtra. # He worked with Bhil adivasis at Shahada Taluka, Dhulia District ( Maharashtra) in the year 1972-73 for their social upliftment and for the fight against their oppression. The work also involved their education about health and hygiene. It also involved participation in the fight against alcoholism and in spreading awareness about equality amongst various castes and classes.
