Joseph Chen (born August 17, 1986) is a Chinese fashion photographer. Early life and education Chen grew up in China and later in life moved to Madrid, where he pursued his Masters degree in Photography at the Escuala de Fotografia y Centro de Imagen. Here, he had fashion exhibits at Circulo de Bellas Artes and PHotoEspaña, the International Festival of Photography and Visual Arts of Madrid, which led to his career as a fashion photographer in the United States. Chen has studied under photographers such as Mark Robert Halper, Miguel Oriola, Jamey Stillings, and Michel Nafziger. Photography career Chen has worked with publications such as Kurv, Philippine Tatler, Vietnam Elle, Serbian Elle, Avenue Illustrated, and BG, among others. Chen's celebrity subjects have included Cobie Smulders, Mischa Barton, Alexandra Daddario, Winter Ave Zoli. Chen also shot famous models such as , Sports Illustrated model Julie Henderson, Brigitte Swidrak Rose, and Jessica Rafalowski. |
