ACG English School is part of a network of schools owned and operated by Academic Colleges Group. ACG English School is situated in the heart of Auckland City and provides English language courses to suit both short and long term students. Foundation The University of Auckland endorsed the programme in 1999 by developing the Foundation Studies Certificate, and subsequently, thousands of international students have successfully gone on to New Zealand and international university study through ACG New Zealand Internatiional College. The related ACG English School was established in 1999. Curriculum At ACG English School, students study two modules, the Core Curriculum Module, which consists of skills development, and the Preparation for IELTS Module, which focuses on examination skills techniques. ACG English School modules cover written and spoken English language usage, language structure, vocabulary development, intensive and extensive reading, listening skills and techniques and writing for fluency and accuracy. Activities/Co-curricular ACG City Campus where ACG English School is located organises a number of extra-curricular opportunities for students every year such as sporting activities, Christian group, creative writing and drawing competitions and photography classes.
