ABM Sohel Rashid is a Bangladeshi actor, poet, and writer. His films include Chachchu, Dhakar King, My Name is Khan, , Rajababu: The Power, , etc. He also wrote and hosted BTV's film magazine show Jhilmil. He is the son of martyred freedom fighter and intellectual A. B. M. Abdur Rahim. Birth and identity He was born on 23 December 1965 at Azimpur Maternity Hospital in Dhaka. Father martyred intellectual A. B. M. Abdur Rahim and mother craftsman Mrs. Jharna Rahim. His ancestral home is Ghatiara village on the banks of Titasnadi in Vasudev Union of Brahmanbaria District. Education He passed his secondary from Mohammadpur Government High School in 1983 and gave his higher secondary examination from Dhaka College in 1985.
