Aaron Michel

Aaron Michel is an education technology entrepreneur based in San Francisco and Boston.
During his undergrad years at Boston University he ran both campus and statewide environmental organizations, while serving as president of his college. Aaron started by working in politics, on a presidential campaign. Immediately following the campaign, he attended and received graduate degrees from Harvard Business School and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
Following his graduation from Harvard, Aaron went into clean technology as a product manager for a year, after which he started several online education companies, including one that was acquired in 2012. His company Fantasy Politics was accepted into the MassChallenge accelerator program, based in Boston. MassChallenge only accepts 1 in 10 applicants. Fantasy Politics applies Fantasy Football dynamics to politics. In the past three years, Aaron and his companies have been featured in USA Today, ABC, The Wall Street Journal and other outlets.
In 2012 the Boston Business Journal and Mass High Tech awarded Aaron its annual Innovation Allstar Rising Star award for his work on education technology.
Today, Aaron is CEO of CareerEagle.com, a career education company that helps young people select careers, decide what to do with their lives and equips them with the tools to get there. It uses 1-3 minute informational interviews on video as the core of a ecosystem of tools and curricula designed to aid young people in navigating the career search process.
