Wine Making
Sauvignon Blanc Grapes like sunshine, but without the extreme heat. The vast area of the Marlborough region covering over 12, 000 km², is a good location for these grapes. The wine is made near the town of Blenheim in the centre of the region. Blenheim provides the ideal climate, with fairly dry summers and moderate dry winters.
Marlborough have been making well renowned Sauvignon Blancs for almost 40 years. The wine will be kept at a Temperature controlled fermentation of 12-15 C. It is made in stainless steel tanks, and fermented with selected strains of yeast.
