The Stephon Marbury Online Initiative is an internet meme in which the goal is to vote Stephon Marbury into the 2009 NBA All-Star Game. Several online initiatives became successful due to rapid cooperation and viral marketing through the internet. On September 14, 2008, there was an online initiative to vote Stephon Marbury to the 2009 NBA All-Star Game started by internet alias 'giordum'. Previous initiatives included voting Antoine Walker to the 2008 NBA All-Star Game , as well as a 2007 online initiative to vote Rory Fitzpatrick to the 2007 NHL All-Star Game with some degree of success. |
