The XIX Island Games (also known as the 2021 Island Games ) are due to be held in Minorca, 2021. Bidding The bidding process for choosing the host island began at the 2011 International Island Games Association General Meeting at Ryde, Isle of Wight. During the meeting representatives of the Minorca Island Games Association announced the intention to bid for the Island Games. Sports The host country chooses between 12 and 14 different sports for their games from this list: * Archery * Athletics * Badminton * Basketball * Bowls * Cycling * Football * Golf * Gymnastics * Judo * Road Racing (Motorcycle) * Sailing * Shooting * Squash * Swimming * Table Tennis * Tennis * Triathlon * Volleyball * Windsurfing See Also
