2019 AAF Championship Game

The 2019 AAF Championship Game, scheduled to be played on April 27, 2019, at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, was to be the inaugural championship game for the Alliance of American Football, to conclude the 2019 AAF season.
On April 2, 2019, the league's football operations were reportedly suspended, and on April 4 the league released players from their contracts.
Background
Teams
Following the 10-week regular season, the top two teams in each conference were scheduled face each other in conference championship games, hosted by the higher seeded team. These semifinals would be held on April 21. The winners would then meet in the championship game.
Venue
Although Sam Boyd Stadium near Las Vegas was originally announced as the host site, the game was moved to Frisco in March at the behest of AAF majority investor Thomas Dundon, who negotiated the move with Jerry Jones, owner of the Ford Center.
Media
CBS secured rights to televise the championship game, as part of its partnership with the AAF announced in February 2019.
