The 2014 Cowboys Classic is the 6th edition of this event and will feature the Florida State Seminoles of the ACC and the Oklahoma State Cowboys of the Big 12 Conference and will be played on August 30, 2014 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This became official on December 19th 2012 when both ESPN and the Dallas Cowboys announced that Florida State and Oklahoma State would meet in the 2014 Cowboys Classic. This will be the 5th meeting between Florida State and Oklahoma State as Florida State leads the series 3-1 as they face each other for the 1st time since the 1985 Gator Bowl which was won 34-23 by Florida State.
