2008-2009 San Jose jr. Sharks Bantam AAA

The San Jose jr. Sharks Bantam AAA team in the 08-09 season had its ups and downs. Coach Sean Castagna took this team to many high end hockey tournaments around the U.S. and Canada. The jr. Sharks competed against the top teams in the nation such as theL.A. Selects, thePursuit of Excellence, and theColorado Thunderbirds. The first and second team mentioned are from the United States and the middle one is from Canada. The jr. Sharks Bantam AAA team was led by many of the players. Captain Christopher Buchanna was the highest scoring defensemen and had many bone crushing hits. he finished the season with I believe 10 or so goals and a boatload of assists. Assistant Captain Ryan Webber finished the secong highest scorer with 19 goals. He was a key player and very clutch. his speed is very quick and can set up people beautifully. The Joe Thornton was a kid named Will Platt. He finished the season with 80 assists, if you count by fours. jk. lol. This guy was clutch and was also quick setting up many like the one and only Joe Thronton. This team didn't even go to the championship game of state playoffs and it was a heartbreak loos to the L.A. jr. Kings. This team probabl will not have the same talent it did next year as they did last year. Chris and Ryan will probably go off to play somewhere else after going to some scouting camps this summer for the WHL and the USHL.
