Zaboor-e-Sukhan(the Psalms of Poetry)
Zaboor-e-Sukhan (the Psalms of Poetry) is an esteemed collection of poems in Hamd of Allah (Praise of God Almighty). It has been published in January,2002. "Furogh-e-Hamd Award" (Award for achieving glory of Hamd) has been presented to the author/poet Tanwir Phool by "Bazm-e-Jahaan-e-Hamd" (cf.S.No.24 of 'Certificates,news and photographs' at the link available in the list of Urdu language writers). Some poems in "Zaboor-e-Sukhan" are the poetic elucidation of the Verses of Holy Qur'aan. In this book, the number of Hamds is 66 according to numerical value of the word "Allah".In addition to it, there are important valuable Hamdia Sonnets, Qit'aat, Ruba'iaat, Haikus and Dohay in this book. Another notable collection of Hamdia poetry by Tanwir Phool,is "Arham-ur-Raahimeen" (the Greatest of all in Mercifulness)published in November, 2005 which is the first collection of 66 Hamdia Sonnets in Universal poetry(cf.S.No.7 of "Opinion of others" available at the link referred to above).
In "Zaboor-e-Sukhan" the first poem is the poetic elucidation/explanation of Surah Al-Fatiha(the opening chapter)which is as under:
Khuda ke naam se aaghaaz hota hai har ik shai ka
Jo behad Rahm waala hai,Jo Rahmaani maiN hai Yakta
Usi ko Hamd zeba hai Jo Rab hai saare aalam ka
Har ik zirooh ka,bejaan ka aur arsh-e-aazam ka
BaRa hi MehrbaaN hai Woh,hai Khaaliq ins ka, jin ka
Jo behad Rahm waala hai,Jo Maalik hashr ke din ka
HaiN bande ham Tire Maula parastish Teri karte haiN
Madad ki aarzoo Tujh se hai,dam Tera hi bharte haiN
HamaiN taufeeq de Maula Tu seedhi rah pa chalne ki
Woh un logoN ka ho rasta ke jin ka thaa amal naiki
JinhaiN Tu ne ataa ki deen-o-dunya ki har ik naimat
Lahad maiN jo haiN aasooda,muyassar hai jinhaiN rahat
HamaiN hargiz na aie Maula ! chalaana un ke Raste par
Huwaa naazil ghazab jin par,huwe gumraah jo yaksar
Duaa-e-Phool sun ley aur isey maqbool Tu kar ley
Hai Tu hi Haadi-o-Rahbar,bachaa le har zalaalat sey
English translation of Al-Fatiha(the opening chapter)is as under:
1)In the name of God(Allah)Most Gracious,Most Merciful.
2)Praise be to God(Allah),the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;
3)Most Gracious,Most Merciful;
4)Master of the Day of Judgment.
5)Thee do we worship,and Thine aid we seek.
6)Show us the straight way;
7)The way of those on whom Thou has bestowed Thy Grace,those whose(portion)is not wrath and who go not astray.
