Yuvraj Samarjitsingh Gaekwad
Yuvraj Samarjitsingh Gaekwad was born 25 April 1967 and married on the 27 February 2002 in New Delhi to Rajkumari Radhika Kumari of Wankaner. They have one daughter Padmaja Raje born in 2006.
Samarjit Singh Gaekwad is the son of Ranjit Singh Gaekwad, the current Maharaja of Baroda (Vadodara) Ranjitsinh Pratapsinh Gaekwad and the grandson of Maharaja Pratapsinhrao Gaekwad Fatehsinghrao Gaekwad and Maharani Shantadevi. He is the youngest of three children, his two sisters are
- Maharajkumari Alaukika Raje, married 1988, Darbar Shri SATYAJITKUMAR KHACHAR, 11th Chief of Jasdan.
- Maharajkumari Anjana Raje, married 1999, Uraaz Behl.
Samarjit's father, Ranjitsinghrao Gaekwad was a member of the Lok Sabha (lower house of parliament in India) and enjoyed two terms from 1980 to 1984 and from 1984 to 1989 as a MP (member of parliament)
Samarjit singh is a Doon School Doon school Alumni. He is also an avid golfer and in fact runs The Gaekwad Baroda Golf Club 1 located in the premises of the Lakshmi Vilas Palace.Lakshmi Vilas Palace
