Wonder is a Los Angeles based gaming company. It was founded in the year 2016 by Andy Kleinman, who is also the CEO of the company.

Overview

Wonder described their product as a high-end mobile device that will work with a number of accessories which is going to make it useful for gaming. As of 2017, the company has raised $14 million of funding in the rounds led by Grishin Robotics. The investors include actor Kevin Spacey, footballers like Gerard Piqué and Neymar Jr, Nolan Bushnell who established Atari, Inc, President and CEO of Sega Enterprises Hayao Nakayama, retired NFL running-back Arian Foster, and Colombian singer Shakira.

Technology

The company aims to build a number of devices, including a new phone for video game enthusiasts. It claims that the first product will be a new type of portable hardware device that might be considered a hybrid between a powerful smartphone and gaming console. It has opened applications for Alpha Test Program. This program is open to everybody online.

The company’s plan involves bundling hardware, games, music, movies, TV, and wireless service into a single package.
