Who Killed Bruce Lee

Hanging around the same live music joint in Beirut's suburb has been providential for these four bearded friends. Years passed and Wassim, Malek, Hassib and Pascal were actively playing music in different outfits, before they first started gigging together. They started off with spiced-up covers of LCD sound system, the Strokes and Queens of the Stone Age, which snowballed into a self-produced EP (released December 2012) that has Beirut's indie rock fans wanting more. Their energetic sets and sold-out events have led them to co-headline the first Redbull Soundclash of the Middle-East, a massive MusicAL face-off between them and internationally-acclaimed band Mashrou' Leila.

In 2013 WKBL released the first single off their upcoming album, "Room for Three", inducing a heavier sound than that of the EP, with heart-wrenching guitars and synths, adding to the already dancy groove they are keen on delivering.

The four bearded musicians have recently been invited to the Redbull Studios in Paris to start recording their upcoming album. Working with the technicians over there, the band's trusted producer Fadi Tabbal (Tunefork Studios) and David Shaw (RBMA) hope to pack up a couple of Fresh tracks for an EXCITING upcoming vinyl release. The band will be concluding their Parisian escapade with a double-bill concert at La Boule Noire on October 31st.
