Westbrook University
Westbrook University is a small, non-profit, distance-education specialty university located in Weirton, West Virginia, United States (35 miles west of Pittsburgh), providing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees to students from around the world. Founded in 1986, the university developed an academic reputation for combining innovative teaching and pioneering research in a highly personal and collaborative environment that transcends traditional academic BOUNDARIES.
Specializing in healthcare and alternative medicine but also offering general education to undergraduates to fulfill curriculum distribution requirements, the university concentrates its academic specialties in the areas of psychology and mental health counseling, rehabilitation counseling, holistic nursing, nutrition, naturopathy and integrative medicine.
