Mission College of Evangelism
Mission College of Evangelism is a Seventh-day Adventist founded Christian Bible College located on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon.
It is run by the President and Vice President- Pastor Louis Torres (Former Bill Haley & His Comets band Member) and Carol Torres.
This training institution was created to develop successful Evangelists, Lay Evangelists, Pastors and Bible Workers.
Mission College of Evangelism was the first pioneer school to create an innovative 3 1/2 Month Evangelism training. Since, Amazing Facts Bible School by Pastor Doug Batchelor and ARISE Academy by Pastor David Asscherick have been created in similar format.
Mission College also has a 7 Month Pastoral training, geared towards larger scale Evangelism and Pastoralship.
Mission College of Evangelism is solely advertised by "Word of Mouth" and has thus been successful.
Pastor Louis Torres, through Mission College of Evangelism has created other Evangelism training schools in Germany and Switzerland, and travels all over the world preaching with several of his Evangelist-in-training.
Through the college thousands have been baptized as well.
