Washinkai Karate

Washinkai karate was created in 1978 by Chris Thompson 8th Dan and is recognised by the Japan Karate Federation as a Traditional Karate style. The style was derived from Wado ryu and contains kata from Shotokan, Shito Ryu and Gojuryu as well as the traditional Wado ryu kata. Washinkai Karate are members of the governing bodies for karate in England, Spain, Norway and Ireland.
