W3: Faithful

W3: Faithful is the third, unreleased album from the Japanese pop duo W (Double You). It was their third album in three years, and was originally scheduled to be released on March 15, 2006.

Although a full track listing was never announced, it is likely, given the typical release history of W (Double You) and other Hello! Project releases, that the single A-sides released since their previous album, 2nd W, was issued in March 2005, were to be included. A new single, "Dou ni mo Tomaranai", was scheduled to be released on March 8, 2006, and would have been included with the album.

It is not known if any classic Showa period Japanese pop covers were to be included on the album, as was the case with the entirety of their first album Duo U&U and about half of 2nd W. It is possible, however, that a producer other than the duo's longtime mentor Tsunku was to be involved with at least a few of the tracks, given that W's last release, Miss Love Tantei, was produced And Co-written by outside collaborators.

The Release dates of the album and its advance single were indefinitely postponed on February 10, 2006 after group member Ai Kago was photographed smoking a cigarette in a restaurant. Kago was a little more than a week away from her 18th birthday at the time the photograph was taken, and Japanese law prohibits anyone under 20 from purchasing and using cigarettes. As a result, Kago was suspended from public appearances, forcing the postponement of the album release.

As of March 26, 2007, this album has been assumed to be cancelled (and gone the way of the original Beach Boys version of Smile), as Ai Kago is no longer a member of Hello! Project following a scandal of her dating a thirty-seven-year old man.
