History
Vordik was originally founded in Calgary in 2010 as a web agency specializing in corporate website design. Within two years, the company had expanded into the mobile and tablet development space, and became known for its responsive products.
In the summer of 2012, Vordik relocated its headquarters to Toronto in order to better service the Canadian SME market. That same year Vordik released the web and iOS app Thing.to, which was created by Vordik CEO Aaron Shapland. In April 2013 Vordik was designated a Shopify Expert for its experience in E-commerce, and became a member of the Swedish Canadian Chamber of Commerce alongside member firms IKEA, SKF, Alfa Laval and Mackmyra Whisky.
