Overview
Human Resource Management (HRM) specialist Vizual Business Tools was established in 1996 and develops Human Resources software solutions for all business sectors across all company sizes, aimed at reducing the traditional administration associated with HR processes. Vizual sells direct and through a network of partners worldwide.
Vizual employs 160 members of staff in offices in Beckenham, Greater London, England (sales, consulting and administration), Weston-Super-Mare (development and support), and Chennai, India (product development, support and consulting).
History
Between 1996 and 2009 Vizual supplied Personnel Manager and Personnel Director, which were Windows-based client-server applications. These products have one of the largest customers bases in the HR software market with over 20,000 copies shipped worldwide. The underlying database was Paradox, a relational database management system currently published by Corel Corporation.
In 2005, following market research, Vizual began to develop new software targeting Microsoft's .NET platform. The web based enterprise level product was marketed with the product name HR.net. In June 2009 this product was renamed HR.net Enterprise.
In February 2010 Vizual was acquired by Automatic Data Processing.
Products
HR.net Enterprise has been designed for larger organisations or companies with complex HR requirements. HR.net Enterprise now has nearly 300 customers worldwide. It is supplied with a graphical workflow tool which is intended to reduce the need to be dependent on external consultants for configuration issues.
HR.net Professional aims to bring Employee Self-Service HRMS within reach to many companies by ease of set up.
HR.net Express offers remote web access and trigger based processes for the SME business sector.
HR.net Lite is a HR solution aimed at smaller or start-up businesses and is offered free of charge for a fully functioning version that is not time limited.
