Visual Fusion for SharePoint
Visual Fusion for SharePoint, developed by IDV Solutions, extends Visual Fusion Server and integrates it with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 by tying directly into SharePoint Lists and the SharePoint Document Library. As SharePoint Lists are added, updated, or modified, Visual Fusion for SharePoint then automatically geocodes the items' locations. This functionality enables the map viewer to immediately reflect modifications made to lists, images, spreadsheets, etc. back to the users.
==Features== Visual Fusion for SharePoint can be managed by a non-technical administrator through Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. The user(s) can add, edit, delete data and datasets via SharePoint Lists, Document Libraries and Excel. New or modified information is automatically geocoded by adding The Latitude and longitude, enabling the "event" to reflect its exact location on the map.
==Funcitionality== - "Geo-codes" SharePoint List items, Document Library items and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet items on the fly
- Outputs geo-coded data in the form of GeoRSS files, consumable by a map client such as Visual Fusion Client
- Allows for dynamic list creation and population with data coming from GeoRSS feeds through standard HTTP requests
- Filters geo-coded data coming from SharePoint via queries and/or views
- Utility to associate a wide variety of ICONS with list, query and view data
- Allows for GeoRSS and WMS feed management via SharePoint Lists
