Video Labs is a Rockville, Maryland based duplication and post production firm providing film, video and internet related production services in the Washington, D.C. area.
Established in 1978, Video Labs production facilities occupy approximately 15,000 square feet just outside Washington D.C., and offers a digital approach to the acquisition, processing, distribution and archiving of media. The enterprise is staffed by artists, editors and production management personnel.
History
Incorporated in April 1978, the company started operating with two employees. June 29, 2007 saw the company sold to long time employee and industry veteran Michael Weiss. The company now has 25 employees and houses virtually every media format.
Experience
With the addition of significant post production and multimedia authoring services at the turn of this century, Video Labs transformed itself into an organization that is expert at helping communicate important messages. This firm is a multi-million dollar operation with significant investment in media distribution and packaging equipment resources. Based just outside of Washington, D.C., Video Labs supports the federal governments communication and media distribution efforts along with serving as a partner to many small and large size corporations.
