Val Kilmer graffiti

Val Kilmer graffiti, usually consisting of repeated images of the actors smiling face, began appearing in Newmarket Canada 2002 and continued in Toronto, Montreal and New York until 2005. In 2007 he addressed the movement on Jimmy Kimmel. Whether one or many persons are involved is not known. From Dec. 18 2004 Toronto Star newspaper "The answer lies, perhaps, in a phone call the Star received late this week from a person claiming to be the perpetrator. The caller said he's never heard of a [Val Kilmer] band, and that he got the idea from Kilmer himself during a "drunken" conversation at a film festival event. After the caller informed Kilmer that he was a graffiti writer, he said, Kilmer suggested they both start tagging his name around town. The caller said the two have not been in touch since, and that he continues to create Kilmer graffiti because it makes him popular with "the girls."
