Ursession

Ursession, also written as urSession or urSESSION, is a virtual digital art district founded by System of a Down's bass player, Shavo Odadjian and long-time friend, entertainment attorney Narb Avedissian.Power 106's World-Famous Wake Up Show's King Tech and Sway (also resident veejay for MTV) are also partners behind the MusicAL networking site.

Mission

Ursession is a virtual community aimed to unite artists with a promotional platform to have music heard by the voting community. Co-founder Avedissian states in an interview:

100K BATTLE

In January of 2008, the Wake-Up Show announced Ursession's "The 100K Battle," a contest where artists with the most community votes by the end of the competition were awarded $5,000, a round-trip ticket to Los Angeles to appear on the Wake Up Show, and exposure from appearing on the world-famous radio station, Power 106.
