Unabom (upcoming film)

Unabom is an upcoming American biographical thriller film based on the life of domestic [...] Ted Kaczynski, also known as the "Unabomber". The film stars Jacob Tremblay, Russell Crowe, Shailene Woodley, Annabelle Wallis, Alexander Ludwig, Steven Ogg, and Marc Menchaca. It is directed by Janus Metz and it will be distributed by Netflix. The film will be released in 2026.

Premise

Ted Kaczynski feels increasingly disenfranchised by society and decides to take up violence as a means of revenge.

Production

In June 2025, it was announced that Janus Metz would direct Unabom, with Jacob Tremblay, Russell Crowe, Shailene Woodley, and Annabelle Wallis set to star and Netflix distributing. Later that month, Alexander Ludwig, Steven Ogg and Marc Menchaca rounded out the cast with filming underway.

Release

Unabom will release on Netflix in 2026.
