Un Dia De Octubre

Un Día de Octubre was created on 4 April 2006 in Cd. Juárez, Chihuahua, with distinct ideas among its members about performing at their best, creating a new style, innovation and high quality.

The name of Un Día de Octubre arose from conversations among the members on the lyrics of the songs, because most women talk about both the lack of love, conquest and grievances, concluding that all happened in October, recalling old talks with former lovers, broken promises, words of love and past experiences with them formed their lyrics, looking for originality with them, good quality and promote the culture, making it an influence to future artists, filled with harmony all people and give a passion for life in his compositions.

Un Día de Octubre has been very well accepted and not just the city but also outside it, being invited to participate in various events such as the International Festival Chihuahua for two consecutive years (2008 and 2009) by visiting several municipalities in our state, opening concert Motel in Rock for Peace Festival, as well as bars and private parties in Albuquerque and El Paso Texas, the anniversary of Burger King in Phoenix, also appearing at the Hard Rock Cafe in Guadalajara, whereas Moreover Pemex Pyramid Ska Festival (sharing the stage with minimum wage and Panteon Rococo) in Mexico City.

Their first album was named Alameda Reyna, recorded in a local studio and in mid-December 2009 were to re-record the album at Sonic Ranch, one of the top five recording studios in the world, located in Tornillo Texas.

Currently you can call on the radio (106.7fm) three songs: "Desde que no estas", "Sabor Cereza and "De Norte A Sur", placed with the National and international rock bands and not just as local.

Members

Victor Pinon (vocals and guitar) with influences of Jaguares, Cerati, Heroes del silencio and from a family of musicians northerners seeking their own style of music since its beginning as the vocalist did not promise much, being that his voice still not enough maturity, now with an optimum pitch was discovered that was not something very peculiar to hear on vocals.

Luis Ramirez (vocals, keyboard and accordion) at the beginning of the formation of the band was guitarist, because it changes with time were going under and now I get to the currently running the keyboard and accordion, accompanied Victor as a second voice, with influences from classic rock genres, retro, was changing tastes in music during his stay with the group.

Rogelio Montes (drums) the most intrepid of the band with a great musical influence, always looking for new rhythms, latent par with the heart. He gave much of it to music, be it the basis of this.

Hector Parada (electric bass) jazz-influenced music, blues and progressive makes a very recognizable brand in the songs of the same.
