Udo I von Wetterau was born around 774 and died in 824. He was son of Heinrich I Heimo von Wetterau. He was count of Wetterau, Breisgau and Gleiberg. His younger brother (Eberhard)Welf I Count of Aargau had ben made count of Aargau. Udo had one son, Gebhard, Count of the Lahngau.
