He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics Honours from the University of Delhi, during which he was involved in street theatre and stage plays for three years. He moved to Mumbai to pursue acting and later trained with the Surnai Theatre Group before beginning his screen career.

Career

Arora made his film debut in The Zoya Factor (2019). He gained wider recognition for his role as a cyber-cell officer in Jamtara and its second season, and subsequently appeared in Crash Course (2022) as Binny Agarwal, a role he has described as a morally ambiguous character. He also appeared in Bombay Begums.

In 2023, Arora played Dhiman, the adopted son of a character portrayed by Dimple Kapadia, in Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo, a Disney+ Hotstar series directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Maddock Films; he underwent a physical transformation for the role at the director's direction, and the performance drew positive notice from reviewers.

In 2025, Arora portrayed Kunal Mehta, the ex-boyfriend and business co-founder of the lead character played by Bhumi Pednekar, in the Netflix series The Royals, alongside Ishaan Khatter. Following criticism of the series by the heritage platform Royal Fables over its portrayal of Indian royal families, Arora defended the show in an interview as a work of fiction.

He is set to appear in Agni, a Netflix film directed by Rahul Dholakia and starring Saif Ali Khan, based on India's first general election.
