Timeline

  • 2009: UC4 acquires complex event processing (CEP) company Senactive and launches UC4 V8, a powerful automation engine that provides a central point of control for managing IT and business processes across the enterprise.
  • 2007: UC4 mergers with AppWorx Corp. to form the largest global, independent specialist vendor of enterprise job scheduling and application automation solutions. With this, the company also opens a US headquarters in Bellevue, WA.
  • 2006: The Carlyle Group, a global investment firm, becomes the majority shareholder in UC4 Software.
  • 2003: Launch of UC4:global, the enterprise job scheduler.
  • 1996: UC4 launches its first multiplatform job scheduler, enabling companies to automate job scheduling across complex IT infrastructures.
  • 1985: UC4 is founded in Austria by Franz Beranek.
