Tony Rudner

Tony Rudner is a record producer and songwriter from South Africa.

Tony has produced and recorded over 35 albums for the African and Canadian markets. Performing live with many accomplished musicians including Manfred Mann, Johnny Fourie, Thembi Mtshali, and Bruce Cassidy. In 1983 he formed Sweet Ride. This group won the 1984 National Jazz competition and released their self-titled album on the EMI label.

He has also composed and produced music for 14 feature films, 8 television series, and hundreds of ads for radio and television. Including the opening theme song and soundtrack for The London International Advertising Awards Show.

In 1991, Tony Rudner emigrated to Canada where his prolific career continues to evolve primarily as a music producer and songwriter. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia but also spends time collaborating and producing in Los Angeles and Nashville. Tony has since been nominated and won numerous awards in Canada for Song Of The Year, Album Of The Year, and Producer Of The Year.

His state of the art Harbourside Studios is a world class production and recording facility in North Vancouver. Tony has also built a recording college, Harbourside Institute of Technology, to compliment the studio and help young people achieve their dreams in the music industry.
