Three Point Capital (TPC) is a specialty finance company that specializes in the funding of film and television. TPC has been involved in over 300 films, which have had aggregate budgets of over $500,000,000. Originally established for tax lending purposes, the company expanded to brokerage and advisory services. TPC focuses on small to middle-market investment opportunities and has helped provide services for movies such as Manchester by the Sea, Beast of No Nation, and Dirty Grandpa. GeneRally the projects range from $1 million to $15-20 million, with most projects ending up in the $3-8 million range. Mostly lending against tax credits, they have expanded into lending against sales contracts and expected sales contracts. They were involved in a lawsuit against Mark Hulme and the team associated in the production of Jobs due to an outstanding loan balance of $2.14 million. Their focus on the production team and not the project makes them popular for indie films. TPC has offices in Los Angeles, New York, Baton Rouge, and most recently expanded into Cincinnati.
