Three Best Friends That Live Together

Three Best Friends That Live Together is an Internet Sitcom series that has gained popularity through viewings on YouTube. It was created by a group of New Zealanders who call themselves "Burn the Dog Productions". Shortly after the first episode was posted, YouTube launched "YouTube New Zealand" which allowed for more New Zealanders to discover the series due to its focus on local content.

Story

The show centers around the hijinks of three best friends who live together in an apartment and their annoying neighbour "Duncan". The show has many common sitcom features, such as a laughter track. This allows for viewers to choose whether they want to take the show as a typical sitcom, or as a parody on the genre.

Main Characters

  • Mark (Mark Hogan) - The Normal one of the bunch, Mark is a bit of a clean freak and is quite often the voice of reason for the friends.
  • Vince (Callum Butcher) - Vince views himself as the "cool guy" of the group. He has a competitive nature and also thinks of himself as a "ladies man".
  • Alex (Keesje Hengst) - Alex tends to be interested in gossip magazines, cooking, and speaks quite articulately, leading Vince and Mark to never quite know whether he is gay or not.
  • Duncan (Jeremy Garland) - Duncan is the annoying next door neighbour. He tends to regularly get himself into the friends' apartment in order to hang out with them against their will.

Minor Characters

  • Dave (Adam Robertshaw) - Dave is a rude Exterminator who tends to pop up every now and then in the friends' lives.
