Third World Traveler is a website that, according to its self-description, puts up articles and book excerpts that offer an alternative view to The U.S. mainstream media about the state of American democracy, media, and foreign policy, and about the impact of the actions of the United States' government, transnational corporations, international financial institutions, and the corporate media, on democracy, social and economic justice, human rights, and war and peace, in the Third World.
