The Shoppes at Chino Hills
The Shoppes at Chino Hills will be a new shopping mall in Chino Hills, California that will include restaurants and stores. Originally there were plans for the mall to be anchored by a Robinsons-May store, then owned by May Department Stores. In Fall 2005, May Department Stores was acquired by Federated Department Stores. Federated is the parent company of Macy's, merged the Robinsons-May moniker. Federated decided to suspend future plans for new stores after this merger on October 28, 2005. It is to now be anchored by Barnes & Noble Bookstore, and also to include ACTIVE, American Eagle, Ann Taylor, LOFT,Aveda, Banana Republic, Bath & Body Works, Brighton, Chico's, The Children's Place, Coldwater Creek, Dali Boutique, H&M, J. Jill, Joes A. Banks, Lane Bryant/ Cacique, Lululemon Athletica Mint Footware, Pac Sun, Victoria's Secret, White House/Black Market, Trader Joe's, Panera Bread, Pinkberry, California Pizza Kitchen, P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Wood Ranch Barbeque, and Yardhouse. Mall construction is scheduled for completion in May 2008. The project officially broke ground in October 2006, and is underway.
