The Promise (Sam Glaser album)
The Promise is a solo album by American composer and entertainer Sam Glaser recorded between 2010-2012 and released on the Glaser Musicworks label on 2012. This is Glaser's 23th album and is a fourteen-song MusicAL exploration of the State of Israel.
It chronicles the love affair between the Jewish People and the Promised Land through the biblical period, two millennium of exile and the past sixty miraculous years of aliyah (return). Two years in the making, The Promise also includes a band of LA-based musicians, an array of guest vocalists and a children’s choir.
