The PhoenixGroup is a Boston-based nonprofit organization that collaborates with a nationwide network of Veteran and Homeless Program Providers. The phoenixgroup operates “The Phoenixgroup Resource Center.” http://veteransphoenixgroup.org as well as .info, .net, .us, and .mobi web addresses. Veteransphoenixgroup.org is a portal for individuals and groups interested in or needing assistance with Veteran or Homeless Resources, Facts, Benefits, Replacing lost Records, Employment Assistance, navigating State & Federal Agencies, Current News, as well as incarcerated and women Veterans issues.
The not for profit PhoenixGroup Resource Center concentrates it’s stratagem on: Timely nonpartisan Educational programs. Comprehensive accessible Outreach service, in cooperation with community leaders facilitating solutions for change. A legislative program advocating a positive restructure in benefits and policy. Comprehensive media awareness campaign to raise the public level of understanding that promotes insight, knowledge and appreciation for this rapidly expanding plight.
Mission
The mission and focus of The PhoenixGroup is to enable lifesaving assistance, advocacy, education and employment projects for U.S. Veterans & The Homeless population.
In addition the The PhoenixGroup strives to eliminate the stigma associated with Veterans, The Homeless, Substance abuse & mental health issues. This goal is achieved through public awareness campaigns in collaboration with community leaders and local agencies as well as the municipal, state and Federal governments.
