The Emmerson Witches
The Emmerson Witches is a young adult fantasy romance novel, written by Australian author Samantha C Ross. The novel tells the story of sixteen year old Chime Emmerson, and her two sisters, Evangeline and Angel. Chime battles for normalcy, while being born into a bloodline of witches. The book mainly revolves around hidden elements of Americus Island, a fictitious island, and home to many hidden elements. Through notoriety on Twitter and Facebook, the novel sparked public interest by the author's online snippets, and caused an internet phenomenon upon the launch of it's website, earning 40,000 website hits in the first day.Olympia Publishers made an immediate bid for the novel, which was published in paperback in April 2014.
