The Ducks (Canadian band)
The Ducks are a Canadian alternative rock band founded in 2019 that are from Canmore in the Bow Valley region of Alberta.
History
The Ducks started in 2019 when they played a concert in their garage to curious neighbours wondering what all the racket was. After rising to fame in the Bow Valley in 2023, they have played gigs for parties and restaurants around valley. They mainly play rock, and enjoy performing anything from Sublime to Guns ‘N Roses. The Ducks featured on CBC’s The National on May 31, 2023. The band won the Canmore Lamphouse Arts Bursary in March of 2024. The Ducks played at the Canmore Folk Festival in 2024. The band's lead singer, Timmy Mann is scheduled to play at the festival again this summer, and in September the band is scheduled to play at the Jasper Folk Festival.
