Tesseract school

Tesseract School is a private, independent day school in Phoenix, Arizona. The school has two locations, a lower school campus in Paradise Valley and an upper school in Phoenix. The lower school serves children from preschool through 4th grade. The upper school serves students from 5th grade through 10th grade. Tesseract School’s first junior class will start fall 2010; its first senior class will start fall 2011.


Tesseract School aims to encourage independent thinking by its students. Children who attend Tesseract school are offered special programs including music, art studio, drama, chorus, band, library and physical education. Spanish is taught to every student starting with the school's early childhood development program. Tesseract started offering Mandarin as a foreign language subject in 2006.

Tesseract School is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). It is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the Arizona Association of Independent Schools (AAIS).

Tesseract School was founded in 1988. It was established as a not-for-profit organization in 2001.
