Etymology
The founding members of Team zEx had lots of fun playing Counter-Strike and were looking for a name for their competitive team. They came up with the name "zebra Extreme" and they decided to incorporate this as their team name. This has since been changed and the team refered to itself as Team zEx, stating that this is their name, and not an abbreviation for the original name. As a token to history and the founding members, the team logo has zebra stripes in the center of the crest.
