Sumit Dubey
Sumit Dubey (born October 3, 1979) is an Indian politician, social worker, prosthodontist and oral implantologist born at Lucknow. He is currently a National Coordinator for the Social Media Department of the All Indian Congress Committee (AICC), a central governing and decision making body of the Indian National Congress.
Personal Life, Education & Professional Career
Born to a family of distinguished doctors, social workers and legal practitioners his parents are Dr Subhash Chandra Dubey & Advocate Usha Dubey and his grandfather was Dr Bindu Madhav Dubey. Like his father Sumit has been pushing for greater change and transformation in the rural health sector in India and South Asia. Sumit also through the NGO HASNAA Foundation work in the thrust areas of dental healthcare, menstrual hygiene and nutrition education. Mostly working through rural health check up camps in the Gursahaiganj region of Uttar Pradesh.
By profession, Dr. Sumit Dubey is a distinguished dental professional with over two decades of experience in Prosthodontics and Oral Implantology, holding a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He has also been active participant in the development and application of Artificial Intelligence for mental health and a contributor to the Bharat Responsible AI forum and framework.
He is active on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, where he frequently shares updates related to the Congress party and his political activities.
Political Career
In his current role as National Coordinator for Social Media and Digital Platforms of AICC, Dr Sumit is in charge of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee social media, digital platforms and digital assets. He has also previously held the position of Incharge of Social Media for all North Eastern States of India.
