Sudha Productions
Sudha Productions (Marathi:सुधा प्रॉडक्शन) Anuya Mhaiskar started her own film production house “Sudha Productions” in 2008 and her maiden venture was the much critically acclaimed film “Sukhaant” (2009). The film was directed by the renowned Late Shri Sanjay Surkar who himself was a multiple award winning director. “Sukhaant” won many awards that year including the Maharashtra State Award for the “Best Social Film”. It was indeed a great honour for a debutant film producer to make a socially topical film and win laurels for it right away. Sudha Productions wanted to make films of all kinds of genres and hence the next venture was a film “Tendulkar Out”(2013) which was a black comedy. Released by Zee Talkies, the film garnered a lot of eyeballs and curiosity alike amongst the viewers.

She would also like to turn choreographer someday given her classical dance background. She says" I wanted to do a totally different film this time around and I loved the script of "Aandhali Koshimbeer". This film is a breezy situational comedy about our day to day relationships and how we deal with them.
Anuya is an Arts Graduate from Ruia College, Mumbai. A self-confessed movie buff she was always creatively inclined to do something big in performing arts. She is a "Kathak Visharad" (graduate in the Indian classical dance form of Kathak) and from a very early age, started performing on stage. She idolizes Madhuri Dixit and is convinced that there can be no one like her ever! Anuya started her own film production house "Sudha Productions" in 2008 and her maiden venture was the much critically acclaimed film "Sukhaant" (2009). The film was directed by the renowned Late Shri Sanjay Surkar who himself was a multiple award winning director. Sachin Awasthee is a post-graduate from Ruia College, Mumbai. He has a TV production and luxury retail operations background. He was also creatively inclined and hence left his job in the retail sector when he got the opportunity to start a film production house along with his sister Anuya. Anuya and he, both, share the vision for Sudha Productions to be one of the premier film-making houses. He admits that though the company is three films old, it is still taking its baby steps into establishing itself.
