Student Connections Red River College
Student Connections Red River College is the Student Connections centre which serves the Manitoba area. This centre is located in Winnipeg’s downtown Red River College campus, 160 Princess Street. This affords easy access to all parts of the city. It has been housed at this location since January of 2004.
Currently Student Connections Red River College is offering services in the Winnipeg and surrounding area, but planning is underway to include Brandon and extended services to the francophone and aboriginal communities. Their main objective is to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises by helping them adopt the Internet as a business tool. For a nominal fee, they provide training sessions on a wide variety of subjects including: basic computer skills, the Internet, e-mail, e-business (including online promotion and selling), website planning and evaluation. The training sessions are hands-on, and can be done on-site or at their training centres.
